One of the victims of Kogi tanker fire incident that claimed 11 lives have been identified as Chinedu David Emeyazia. Chinedu was among the many who got burnt to death in a horrible multiple accident, in Lokoja last weekend. Friends of the deceased have already taken to Facebook to write tributes to him. Engr Lorenzo wrote; ‘Still trying to make my head believe it’s not true. JCI Chancellor Chinedu David Emeyazia, a young man with full of life, but the ungodly accident (Explosion) could not allow that even as you fought to make it but failed ( Country where there is no effective emergency response). Two armed robbers met their waterloo in Egbeda area of Lagos, after they snatched a bag containing money a lady withdrew from Zenith Bank. It was gathered that the two guys riding an okada bike came from nowhere, to snatch the money from the woman after she withdrew from a Zenith Bank branch situated at Faith Bustop along Egbeda-Ikotun Road, Thursday around 8:30 am. However while trying to get away,  a mobile Policeman shot at one of them and he died instantly. More photos below;

Tension rose at a street in Lagos state on Saturday midnight as a man was caught in an attempt to fulfill ritual requirements with the daughter of his landlord.  A man identified as brother Hyacinth has been arrested in Lagos for wearing the pant and bra belonging to his 7-year-old neighbour, Ijeoma, for alleged ritual. A father of five, Austin Segun, who tied his 13-year-old son to a burglar-proof for three days because a Church leader said the boy was a wizard, has been given an ultimatum to leave Eruemukohwarien community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. Mr. Segun was said to have been released on bail after he was arrested and detained at the Ughelli ‘A’ Division Police Station over the incident.
